The 2007-2008 Parent Activities Calendars are here! Your child's teacher will be sending one home the first week or so of school. But you can also print a copy by clicking below.

• 2007-2008 Parent Activities Calendar (for children who function from 3 to 5 years old developmentally)
• 2007-2008 Parent Stimulation Calendar (for children who function from 0 to 3 years old developmentally)

Voluntary Pre-K (VPK) - Is your child prepared for kindergarten? VPK gives children a jump start by preparing them for school and enhancing their pre-reading, pre-math, language and social skills. By developing the skills children need to become strong readers and students at an early age, children are more likely to be successful in school. VPK classrooms offer high-quality programs that include high literacy standards, developmentally appropriate curricula, manageable class sizes, and qualified teachers. If you live in Florida and have a child who turns 4 years of age by September 1, your child is eligible for Florida’s FREE VPK program. Call 305-644-4046 or go to www.vpkhelp.org.

SIBSHOPS

Sibshops are for kids who have a brother or sister with special health or developmental needs.

Sibshops are held from 10:00 am - 2:00 in the Miami Children's Hospital Auditorium at 3100 SW 62 Avenue, Miami. See the Sibshops website here.

Meetings are held every 3rd Wednesday of the month, alternating English and Spanish each month. Dads, Step-Dads, Grandfathers, Uncles or male figures are welcome.
