Program Models: Pre-K and Headstart Consult

Hours:

8:20 a.m. - 3:05 p.m.

Staff:

Certified Special Education (SPED) Teacher visits General Education classroom monthly; OT, PT and speech/language provided as needed

Overview of Children:

Children with mild disabilities are placed in a regular Headstart Pre-K classroom and a certified special education (SPED) teacher visits the site monthly to assist the teacher with adaptations, strategies and SPED paperwork.

Class Size:

Approximately (16-20) 3 and 4 year old Headstart students
